The Love Is Blind Season 6 reunion was released on Netflix Wednesday, and I must admit, the Lacheys brought their A-Game with the hosting duties this year. It will be interesting to see how it affects the show moving forward. STARZ announced yesterday that the upcoming 4th season of Power Book II: Ghost will be the last. The season will run in two parts, the first premiering in June and the second in September. The cast and actors seemed to find out at the same time we did, which is strange, but STARZ’s CEO explained that it’s more cost-efficient to cancel shows after the 3rd or 4th season and create cheaper spin-offs since they understand what the audience likes. Translated: they realized that actors, staff, and crew on a new show are paid much less than those on an established show in its 3rd or 4th season when bonuses are introduced. Further translated: they don’t want to pay the artists. 🙃 That said, they also announced a spin-off based on the origins of Tommy & Ghost in alignment with the 10th anniversary of the premiere of the original Power series.
